Fiberglass for Swimming Pools
The uses of glass reinforced plastic are limitless and fiberglass is used throughout the world in many industries.

Once fiberglass, your pool will look fresh, clean, new and stunning
The fiberglass finish makes a very old and tired pool look brand new and your water sparkle once more.
Once your old liner has been removed and relevant repairs carried out the fiberglass can start to be applied. New copings can be laid and the fiberglass tucked under them or a plastic finish can be put under your copings and lapping over the fiberglass. Unlike a liner there are no seams so the pool looks like one complete shell.
Sometimes tile bands are put around the top of the pool to give a luxury look, in extreme cases the whole pool is tiled and grouted to make a fiberglass pool look like a tiled concrete pool.
Advantages of fiberglassing your pool:
- Fiberglass or grp (glass reinforced plastic) is a super tough material made from glass matting and resins.
- The final finish that is applied stays very clean and algae can not hold on as well as it does on other pool finishes.
- You cannot rip, tear or pierce fiberglass no matter how hard you try.
- Should your pool go green, the green just pressure cleans away from the fiberglass with ease.
- Fiberglass can be molded to any shape.
- A fiberglass pool is totally waterproof and can be non slip.
- There are many colour finishes.
- Fiberglass is a relatively quick process.
Glass reinforced plastic is made up of polyester resins and different grades of chopped strand fiberglass matting, depending on the project type. We can fiberglass any shape for your project, whether rectangle, square, round or kidney shaped. In fact any shape, with any shape inside it, can be fiberglass.
Once the matting has been applied with resin and hardened, the project can be sanded and cleaned. We then apply a top coat, leaving you with a strong and durable finish. The top coat is UV stabilised and easily cleaned, once washed after application, it is safe for you to use.
Fibreglass for Wet Rooms
We can fiberglass floor level or walk-in bathrooms or showers and water holding tanks

Your wet room can be fiberglassed first and then tiled after giving you a guaranteed non-leaking finish
Wet rooms
Over the last few years in the UK the introduction of wet rooms have become increasingly more popular.
Waterproofing your project is by far the most crucial part of any wet room, as any leaks could cause damage to your property, so having waterproof floors and walls is crucial.
Fiberglass (GRP) is ideal for waterproofing wet rooms and shower trays,
it can be tiled on to to achieve the finish of your choice.
Should the tiles or grout breakdown, underneath would be a watertight grp
lining saving i.e. your downstairs ceilings..
